Additional Data Requirements

U.S. Customs Border Protection (CBP) has issued new and enhanced Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) Data Elements impacting air freight shipments traveling to or through the United States. Providing the required data elements will be a prerequisite for shipping in the imminent future.

The Enhanced Air Cargo Advance Screening FAQ, and ACAS Implementation guide, as provided by the U.S. Government, is being shared below.

With immediate effect, please ensure that following mandatory data are transmitted for each shipper and consignee in the FWB (XFWB) message and FHL (XFZB) prior to cargo acceptance, in the shipper and consignee record:

For self-filers: if you have elected or are planning to self-file directly to customs authorities, you must submit this additional data to ACAS with your direct shipment messages.
