Our services via the eBooking platform are therefore not offered directly to private customers. Frequently asked questions

Do eBooking users need to work for a company registered with SWISS WorldCargo?

Yes. eBooking access is intended for users booking on behalf of a company that is registered with SWISS WorldCargo (e.g., a forwarder, shipper, or partner organisation). 
Register your company with SWISS WorldCargo and open an account, please reach out to our local representatives. 

I used the previous web portal — can I keep my existing username?

Yes. If you used the previous web portal, you can continue using your existing username under the condition that you have received an email from us about the successful migration of your account. When you access the new platform for the first time, simply reset your password via the Forgot Password functionality.

I don’t have credentials yet, but my company is already registered with SWISS WorldCargo as a customer, what should I do?

If you don’t have login credentials yet and your company is already registered with SWISS WorldCargo, please register your company directly through SWISS WorldCargo eBooking here to request access. 

Can I use a shared email account such as a team mailbox to register?

Yes you can do this. Remember to use unique username. 

How does registration approval work?

Approval depends on your branch setup: 

  • If a colleague from your branch is an admin user in the eBooking platform they will receive an email notification and can approve your registration. 
  • If you are the first user for your branch, SWISS WorldCargo will review and approve your registration and grant you admin access. 

Please note: approval in both scenarios may take some time, up to two days. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email. 

 

How do I become an admin user for my branch?

You can request admin rights during registration. In addition, all first users of the branch are becoming automatically an admin. It is recommended to have more than one branch admins in place for smoother operations.  

 

How long does approval take?

Approval times can vary depending on the scenario (branch admin approval vs. SWISS WorldCargo approval) and request volume. You’ll receive an email as soon as your registration is confirmed. Please note, your colleague – the branch admin, can also approve your registration. 

What should I do if I don’t receive the approval email?

First, check your spam/junk folder. If you still can’t find it, contact SWISS WorldCargo’s local team so the team can help you verify your registration status. 

Can multiple users from the same company or branch register?

Yes. Multiple users can register. Once an admin is in place for your branch, additional users can typically be approved by the branch admin. 

I’m not sure whether someone in my branch is an admin, what should I do?

Register anyway. During the approval process, the system will route your request either to your branch admin (if available) or to SWISS WorldCargo for review. The first user of the branch will  become automatically an admin. It is recommended to have more than one branch admins in place for smoother operations.  

Do I need any special setup to use SWISS WorldCargo eBooking?

No special setup is required. You only need your account registration approved. For best experience, use a modern browser and ensure you can receive emails from SWISS WorldCargo for confirmation messages.
