Thanks to an outstanding collaboration among various Swiss WorldCargo teams and a solid can-do attitude, a unique Cargo charter operation has been recently completed by our airfreight division with great success. This remarkable mission involved operating a cargo-only extra flight from Italy to Zurich with an A321 aircraft, utilizing all ULD positions available in the cargo hold to transport exclusively Valuables shipments.
We go the extra mile to secure extra capacity
The need for this extra section arose when our Swiss WorldCargo teams witnessed a strong demand for return shipments from an event that took place in Switzerland’s southern neighbor. As all goods had to be shipped out the day after the fair’s closing – and some of the shipments could not be accommodated on regular flights – an innovative solution was needed.
That’s when Swiss WorldCargo’s ‘thinking outside the box’ mentality stepped in confidently, leading our teams stationed abroad and at our headquarters to not only quickly activate and organize a dedicated transportation option in record time but also execute the exclusive operation as smoothly as a plane gliding down a runway.
